Just bought an L reg 1994 Swb 80 D Transit it does not have Power Steering. I have been told that it would have had it originally, is this correct?

Power steering was not standard on Transit 80's till 1998, would have been an option, but few had it

I may have the chance to buy an S reg Transit (engine blown up) will I be able to take the Power Steering system from it and fit it to my L reg Transit. If so will It have everything needed for fitting?

Yes, just make sure you remove the whole PAS system form the newer van.....and you'll be able to convert the L reg from Manual - PAS
