6006 cd wiring

Postby furnitureman » Thu Sep 09, 2010 7:38 pm

Just removed my 6006 cd player form my 56 plate mk7 transit as the previous owner had fitted a parrot handfree badly where he has pluged the parrot cable into the back of the sterio he has left a small rectangular plug aprox 2cm by 1cm that has two wires this obviously was pluged into the sterio prior to the parrot unit being fitted does any one know what they are for and can i just cut and splice some wire in to make them long enough to fit. :?:

Just unclip it from the existing connector and moe it to the back of the stereo, I'm pretty sure it will be the wire for the remote control on the steering column
