Tappet Settings

Can anyone confirm the correct Tappet settings for my '95 Smiley Face Tranny? Should they be set hot or cold? Any tips or things to look out for?

hi mate, on a 2.5 diesel transit 1995 model you should set them cold. if its petrol 1995 model they are hydrolic. if you need the exact gap settings let me know and al dig through me data book for you. hope this helps mate.

Valve clearences are as follows,

Exhaust valve clearance: 0.38 mm
Inlet valve clearance: 0.20 mm
