audible alarm for lights / ignition key

Hi,
Recently my audible alarm has stopped working. (the one that goes off when you open the door and leave your lights on)
My Tranny is an 05 plate 280 mid wheel base medium height with the Duro Torque engine. Any ideas anyone??

Thanks for that, I take it that is the switch which operates the courtesy light??
I shall try it first thing tomorrow.

No the courtesy light is operated thru the door latch, the pin switch only does the buzzer

Hi, I'm back at last.
I've sorted the problem now.
The 5 amp fuse for the number plate light, located inside the cab above the glove compartment had blown. Seemingly this also is used for the audible alarm.
Thanks for your help, your info helped put me on the right track for sorting the problem.
