Cb radio in mk 6 van

Im about to install a cb in my van mag mount ariel ,etc ive got a choice of 2 cbs new looking model quite small and compact (MAYCOM EM27) 80 channel etc
or i have a quite old looking (COBRA UK 29 LTD ST SOUND TRACKER)but works well maybe a better radio ?not shure
anybody had any of these im not shure which one to use.

where abouts have you mounted yours for best results etc
any tips would be helpfull.

Have you seen the CB Radio section?

You will need to request to become a member first though.

Their both good radio's, Maycom nice modern and small, but the buttons are a bit small when driving and the mics are very unreliable. The Cobra old skool in looks, a fair bit bigger and the soundtracker are excellent. I must admit I used the Maycom for a number of years and I liked it. Both top end radios and both have their advantages, its gonna be down to looks...
