turbo conversion

I hope this will fit my van :lol: as i've just bought this little lot for my mk5 70ps di viewtopic.php?f=9&t=74675
Could anyone tell me what else i will need to get this working please. I gather i need a bosch manual pump for starters.

You'll also need the Bosch 145/6 pump and 100PS matching injectors, along with the exhaust downpipe/system and either a turbo sump or drill some sort of fixing to the side of your current sump for the turbo's oil return pipe :)

You don't have to have the pump and injectors immediately, you can add these as and when, but don't expect it to fly until you do :wink:

Whats the difference between my manual pump and the 145/6 pumps and how would it drive if i just changed the injectors and kept my pump and wound it open a bit more

it would go better than what u have now even with your injectors in it..you will need to turn up pump pressure a bit(but dont fiddle with the pump pressure unless u know what u doing)but would still go ok without the pump pressure upped...
You will find with the turbo u wont have to change down as much on hills .
