Would mine be FWD?Is there any particular make or brand of snowchains to buy and what should i expect to pay?Are Transits difficult to drive in snow,or are they no better or worse than cars?

they are..... terrible in the snow... as are all rwd vans :(

bit of weight in the back between the rear wheels helps,

but you don't want to add too much to the back and non to the front or it'll make the back axle more likely to skip out on a corner... you'll be fine if you know it's a bad corner and go really slow, the problem is when it doesen't look so bad until you're 1/2 way round and it's too late....

Mine is very high up at the back, no traction at all on a wet road, if it snows here she is staying on the drive :D
