Suspect low fuel pressure

Postby Drever » Fri Nov 12, 2010 1:22 pm

Hi guys, can anyone out there help me?

Transit TT80 '03

Ran low on fuel and after my vans' engine management light came on. I fueled up and left it over the weekend and the engine management light came on again, turned engine off and on then limped on for a mile then it died. I had to be towed from the bypass to my house. Mobile Vehicle Mechanic didn't have a clue. Someone has suggested the fuel filter but it has made no difference. We cracked injectors and the fuel is definately coming up but perhaps not enough. I towed it to the local garage who suggested low fuel pressure but didn't want to know regarding the repair.

Please please please any suggestions would be appreciated!
