centrtal locking

Hi, the central locking on my 02 Transit has started to mess with me. Sometimes when i go to lock the van when i press the button twice to deadlock it, it unlocks itself streight away. You can here it lock then lock again but then you here it unlock. it doesnt happen all the tim though. Is my central locking Donald Ducked or can it be fixed.

Hi Dave

I had similar problems with mine. The problem with mine was the lock wastnt closing properly so system thought door was open gave the lock good clean No more probs.

check the wires in the loom at the rear door as it can chaff through....plus clean the contacts on sliding door
