Hi I have got a accident damaged mk 6 350 pickup and need to get it home my mate has a trailer that it will fit on and an izuzu trooper with a gtw of 5500 kgs is this legal to tow it if it is under this weight all up with driver thanks

i think you can tow about 3/4 of the weight of the viecle that is doing the towing,ifu look in the cars manual it might tell u or type in just ask on the google search home page

You should be fine mate

Im assuming a LWB mk6/7 transit is about 2000kg empty and a suitable trailer 4-500kg.

thats 2500kg behind the trailer.

So long as the towing vehicle is less than 3000kg with the driver/passenger/fuel/lunch etc it will be fine
