As the vans are based on the same chassis it is a possible job. however, the wiring side of things would be a rather large undertaking. It is more an electrical issue changing the dash to a mk7 whereas changing the front end from 6 to a 7 is more mechanical/body panels.

Im quite sure there is much more involved and would it be worth it?

Hi
Reading this post, is it possible then to use the dash mounted gear lever on the MK6. I have a FWD 2.0 tdci, and have often thought of this possibility would be interesting to hear what you guys have to say on the subject.
