Radio code / indicators not flashing / ply lining

Postby lcd » Thu Dec 23, 2010 10:59 pm

Hi folks,

I'm now the proud owner of an 06 connect SWB (ex ringtons), and I've a couple of things I need to sort over the holidays..any advice much appreciated..

Radio: (4000RDS) doesn't click into position properly so Im planning to fix it in permenant somehow - gaffer tape / glue? When I hold it in position at the minute it needs a code which i can't find on manual.

Indicators/Hazards: are lighting up but not flashing so I just get a solid light..

And if anyone has any advice on getting it ply lined (Newcastle area) and also the cost of a spare key - that'd be most helpful.

Thanks in advance,

Darren.

ok first one..Radio needs removing and post up the serial number which starts with letter M then some numbers from that we can get the code you need..indicator issue could be the hazard light switch playing up or the indicator relay sticking.. cant help with key but any good key place that can also code the keys will be able to cut and code the key for you.

hi lcd,
i had a bit of trouble myself getting the big ford radio in, quite a lot of chunky blocks and wires behind ! i had to stuff them ''well in'' before i could get radio to CLICK IN PROPERLY,
has radio got the side clips on ? is the slot in the dash dammaged ? if you want a code for it pm me and i'll send you it, as for ply for the back this Co sells the kits and are based on the team valley
