hi ive just seen my local asda selling CASTROL GTX PART SYNTHETIC 10W 40 A3/B4 AND 15W40 A3/B3 for £10 for 4 litres
is this the 10w 40 SEMI SYNTHETIC that ive been told i need for my 2.5 turbo deisel transit?

Always thought GTX was mineral?.... may go have a look, though not that cheap in the real world, plenty of 10w40's in 5ltr for not much more than a tenner...
Did see some fully 5w30 Triple R stuff for 15 quid odd at wilkinson for 4 ltr, that's a good price!
