transit engined ldv convoy starting issues

Postby will_1988 » Mon Jan 03, 2011 12:34 pm

Hi folks,
Wondering if any of the technical members on here can shine a light on this for me, been given my uncles ldv van to have a look at for starting issues, problem is the fuel keeps running back away from the injectors, i've replaced the spill pipes and the fuel filter so far which hasnt done a great deal of good and now im starting to point towards the fuel pump. Has anyone had this problem before? Any help/advice is greatly appreciated.

Cheers Will

hi its dave from deks autos
you could start by butting a one way valve in fuel line

thanks for the reply dave, i have been thinking of putting a one way valve in but it already has one in the filter housing, whether its working or not is a different matter, may fit one for good measure!
Anyone else got any suggestions?
Cheers Will
