Transit 2.4 York Engine

I have removed a 2.4 York from my 3 ton Unimog - I need more power. The engine looks crusty but always starts in a couple of revs if you heat for 20 secs. The rocker cover has a sticker saying Ford Recon unit. I put a new cam belt and water pump on 500 miles ago.

The engine has a modified sump and the vac pump hole is blanked off.

I dont want any time wasters or dreamers - it is in a field near Dursley Gloucestershire and I can help to load most Saturdays - otherwise the scrap yard is 1/2 a mile away.

Hi it might be worth posting this on some of the landrover/ range rover forums as well if there are no takers a few end up in those..
