hi all well not so free i baught a blue mk2 transit years ago off a menber on here from sumerset later i sold it to some 1 in london i beleve that was 6 years ago i have just had a letter from dvla that its been inpounded and they want me to pay any release cherges the van is in rainham essex to costly for me so if any 1 whants to arrange to get it out or you know the chap that baught it get intouch

I think its £150 and £20 a day storage :?: anyone know any different :?:

update it turns out a mate of transit jono had it taken we are now trying to re unite it with him

looks like its going to crusher as they whant 6 years back tax aswell as release fund and i have to send the form off today to who i sold it to any 1

i sold this item on ebay dec 2007 how doi find out his address he is still tradeing and i have his user name dont want to contact him about it as he may dissaper any please

It was your resposibility to notifiy DVLA

of change of ownership....NOT the buyer's :(

Yes it is but you dont have to prove you did,DVLA have to prove you didnt and they cant do that.Any court case would fail because of that although it doesnt stop them bluffing and the weak pay up

Before you could phone the dvla and get your name removed from the vehicle so it would have no registered keeper.
