Thanks Luke

the story goes....

I was due and in need of a full service to my 99 transit 2.5d and was all set to use the usual mechanic at F1 autocenters. BUT....

Instead I decided to contact Rover aka Kev at Roving Repairs via the forum after looking at hs website and seeing that he's a) a mechanic b) near me and c) a fellow forum member here.

A phone call was made to an easy going chap and the service was booked for the following week. Kev turned up today right on time. A quick handshake and we got chatting and Kev set to work.....

A full service to my van including cleaning, adjusting, tighteneing, advising me on all sorts of things i had questions on, and wiring up the main wiring carcus for my central locking system....

SORTED

3 hours in total he was on my (Mums) drive in the bitter arctic cold

I'm really pleased with the quality of his service, he's punctual and reliable and as you'd expect, is professional and certainly knows what he's doing. he didn't seem to mind me eyeballing what he was doing either (and i hate that). Not only that but he's saved me money on what it would've cost anywhere else.

I'm greatful for the service and the help. Top service.

So a thumbs up to Rovers repairs from me !!!! Thoroughly recommended.

Another 'highly recommended' endorsement...

Just a quick post of thanks to Kev for carrying out a service on my 99 Di. As well as the service, he answered all of my questions, gave EVERYTHING the once over and supplied tea to boot!!

Anybody falling into Rovers catchment area could do a LOT worse than letting Kev service and give a 'once over' to their prized (or not) Transit.

Cheers Kev!

Ford Transit 120 TDI EPIC Automatic. 0-60 in a leisurely and smooth 12.7 seconds and 1/4 mile in 19.1 seconds. Now where's all these faster? manual Di s?

But then it would cost as much as taking it to a Ford Stealer
