Thoroughly recommend Martyn's attention to detail, and care taken to get it totally right, was able to tell me I had a very early software version, so it's presumable never had a PCM update / re-calibration, and consequently the re-map has made it so much better than before, especially throttle response. His IDS also acknowledged that the PCM "knew" that A/C was fitted, so will take into account the compressor clutch cutting in and out. He also successfully re-calibrated the RCM
Will need more time to tell on MPG, but doesn't seem to be using more fuel, even toeing it up big big Scottish hills! Still got between 510 and 525 miles on a tank.....lovely!

Martin remapped my cousin's mk7 140 jumbo :D having driven it myself a few hundred miles (before and after) i can say it was quick before but now goes like a train 8) almost too fast
theres a power increase through out the gears but it's mostly noticable in 3rd and 4th and at motorway speeds you almost forget it's got the high roof

Vantuner another happy customer

Postby jeffseye » Sat Aug 21, 2010 3:47 pm

Just got back home after martyn remapped my van this morning we met up at a service station and he worked his magic on my 85 ps 280 transit. The drive home was 100 % better than the drive down to meet him after the remap van is quick now with plenty of power going uphill massive difference noticed all I can say is thank you martyn (legend) give the man a call and have the remap done

NEWS - I am stocking the i-map unit again , as I have overcome the "anti-tuning " mapping changes Ford made on Mk7's some time back that made getting decent power almost impossible...because of this it was essential that i did them in person, as opposed to remotely via the i-map.

Also , on Mk7's - I am lot closer to an EGR defeat solution that will allow them to run great..:)

My Jumbo went to see Martin over the weekend. OMG what a difference.

Not checked for how much the MPG has gone up by yet as I went for the power map and I have not finished thrashing it about yet. Hitting 85mph on the A406 at 8pm says it all lol.

Just wanted to say a big thanks to Martin for sorting the van out, out of working hours.

Will be bringing the other 2 vans over to you soon mate.

Prices depend on the van mate, best thing to do is give him a call or email him.
