Another Mk6 - MK7 change

Postby jls security » Wed Sep 18, 2013 4:48 pm

After a good read on here about other members who have completed the front end conversion I thought I would give it a go. So I have bought a full front end including doors for £300 in white.

How my MK6 used to look pre facelift

Stripped the inside out, ply lined and carpeted ready for windows

Get some Mk7 seats fitted with 4mm steel spreader plates made for underside of the van

Then I fancied some new front seats, found myself some Granada Scorpio heated leather all electric seats on Ebay for £10!!

Two days start to finish because the lad who`s garage I was using wanted to go home at 5pm :0(

I got the mirror caps painted only to get the drivers one knocked off when it was parked up the other week. Fortunately for me the in cab cctv caught the driver who smashed it off. His boss wasn't too pleased when I called them!!

Happy to say that both mirrors are now back in place!
