Hi Tom

Sorry you had to sell as you had done so much to it.

I recently acquired an AA yellow SWB Transit, no idea of the year as its on French plates, its RHD and I bought it off a friend in France.

Has some remains of fittings on the roof that could be from a flashing light board. Its been well looked after, all boarded out in the back and has been a useful little van.

Front arches are scabby and backs aren't much better. My son in law, Mr. old Ford anorak, says he has never seen such solid smiley face rear doors !

198K on the clock but I don't think the engine is original, or original rebuilt, because its a very good runner with very little smoke.

The chassis plate states 5200KG GTW and also states 150S in the top right.

I guess this is a 150S then, not sure if it should have a turbo, could do with one, particularly if I ever want to move 5200KG GTW !

Looks to be a rare beast though !

Cheers - Nige
