Ginger the mk5 recovery truck.

Just got back from picking this up, forgot how slow and noisy these were. Need to make a list, mostly mechanical stuff todo, bodywork and chassis seem spot on.Image

Between the chorus from the gearbox and diff and very annoying release bearing chirp, I don't need a stero. Start it Monday pulling box out . Work from there. Drives straight as a mk5 can, parked it up a unit got in my mk6 nearly put clutch pedal through floor. But 4got how much I like the mk5 worts n all.

Well started at the front inbetween jobs, pads and both front wheel bearings totally shot. Replaced the lot and Small road test totally different truck. Needs new tyres on front as they only have car tyres on. Back wheels off the moro, lets c what that brings. Best bit 2 wheel bearings and pads weren't even £25 with vat. God I love these.
