EX RAC T330 RWD MK7 DAY VAN CONVERSION

Hi all, Finally found a mk7 after months of searching.

This one was used by the camera crew of the tv program "wheeler dealers". They used it for towing cars to filming locations too.

I will be using it as a day van to carry my bike to track days around the country and as a daily use vehicle too.

Ive removed all the panels ready to insulate. Also looking to change the diff ratio for better cruising. Currently sporting the 5.11 diff used for towing and hated by everyone else!

Spoke to a chap today who can change the ratio and take about 2 hours. The lowest ratio available Is can go is 3.40 then its 3.58, 3.73, 3.91. Some advice on this please.

Next will be replacing the rear springs lower the van a little and help with the ride. Will fitting std t260 springs be ok?

I would recommend the 3.73
Any lower and it can become over geared which is just as annoying as under geared!

My 350 had 115ps and the 3.73, in my opinion it was perfect
