I could have told you that  I have an engine which might have the sensor still in it that I will check for you for the colour which I should remember but cant  but is red or maybe green.PS could you ask the stealer would he like to buy some as I have a bag somewhere with about 5000 senders in it :) Some muppet in a Ford dealer ordered them by pressing the wrong button
On the sixth day God created a Sprinter on the seventh he gave it away and bought a TRANSIT

Stealer being the word I reckon ! The Moral of the story never throw anything away until the job is complete ! I must remember this :) the temperature issue is now solved.

Anyway Dieselhead has worked his Magic with the Powersteering upgrade for my Mark 4 with some intricate metal fabrication taking place amongst a flow of Grub and Tea ;)
Today after the initial starting and running problems the Van was sorted out and is running very well, once I have covered a couple of thousand miles it will return for the Dyno.
Due to the inclement weather, work and workload of the people who have helped me the van is back on the road once again and it has been worthwhile another milestone in the refurbishment of my MK4. The next task now is to attend to the roof of the vehicle which has a leak due to Tin Worm and will see the windscreen removed along with the headlining and dash, Dieselhead has a plan for this next phase of work and I hope to get the MK4 to this summers show, the run out will do it good .

My pinto has the black band sensor fitted now, it works the tacho fitment round style temperature gauge. I've got 2 more different coloured ones that don't though.
