 how dare you sir, as soon as i find out what gloves they use and a suitable shopping emporium in reasonable distance from my locale in which to travel to and stop mid way for a spot of lunch then peruse the aforementioned establishment for the correct size and style of gloves I need...........
I shall travel to you and fan your face with my gloves in such a way as to demonstrate to you my malcont and challenge you to a duel :?

Nice van that is.... Mercedes? :P 8)

Mine was like that. Hey, you know paint is porus right and water etc penetrates it if left and that causes rust right, well traffic film is oil right which stops water yes so in theory protects the paint right?

So traffic film v wax?

I have said it before and yet I'll say it again, a layer of dirt on your vehicle at this time of year is a good thing, you see once said layer of dirt is stuck no more dirt or road salt can stick to the vehicle thus for protecting it from that nasty brown stuff that came free with every Southampton van :lol:well that's my theory anyway :D

The only problem with that theory is that when the dirt layer contains road salt spread by the gritters, then it has free reign to start rotting the paintwork, and the underside, 24/7 :(

That said, my custom has superior paint technology which has the no expense spared treatment and is lacquered over base, so I have no need to be overly concerned :P

Well yes but your superior paint is water based 8) hence the need for lacquer or clear coat as our American friends call it, water based paint is the future you know :D does this superior paint not fade like the old cellulose paint? My red escort would fade just at the thought of sunshine.

Like the mk1 corsa used to go pink and the black plastic arches go chalk grey  no my superior water paint shouldn't fade, it won't oxidise anyway, probably just fall off like cracking a boiled egg shell  I've already penned a strongly worded letter

Most likely :?

But in the next year all combustion engined vehicles will be forcibly removed from their owners and crushed so I think we'll be OK not to worry

All future vehicles will run on the f word and bad thoughts.
