That's where mine was broken, apparently, very common on the Transit, so probably the first place they looked because a lot of MOT testers don't see it (so I was told)
Because I needed it done quickly, it cost me £700 for the springs (inc labour and VAT)

Strange thing is that I've never overloaded this one, (unlike the Mk5 and Mk6!)

Luckily I was in Stirling and got ma niece to collect one and bring up to me and I Always carry toolbox and trolly jack so replaced it on site so cost £130 for spring and £20 for Ubolts ..... I had put heavy duty springs on it and new spring was standard so van was a bit lop sided but they never noticed and lifted the prohibition notice on the spot
Actually got the spring I needed after I left the site from a helpful young dude call Airthies so it got modified and fitted that night so new spring got quick clean and went back next day but had to use the new ubolts so it only cost me £20........ look on there faces when I took spring off was priceless
Next transit in was a pickup and got the same treatment...... it got repaired on site also Image

Filled up with fuel, £150.9 per litre, daylight robbery

Found this dodgy wire hanging down,

Must have been something for the orange beacons that were on the roof at some point.
