Thank you , the Mercs go for more money but when parts are needed they are beyond my pocket ,I looked for a long time to get the wright motor home and on a LTD buget this has been a good buy for me ,I new I had to do an upgrade, the old engine was too smoky and had no power I ve got a flying machein now all be it thunderbird 2 ,the living quaurters are just wright so she will do for me . :) :)

Just some finishing toches the big bore exhaust was made from a table leg (my wife aint happy with the stack of bricks holding up the table ) I fitted it to take the exhaust past the rear of the Hymer the new exhaust was short by 60cm (2ft) :lol: .
The gear stick cover was cut from a bit of aly sigh that I hapen to have :wink: I will polish it when I change the carpet it ,may be the next job cheers all :D :D TIP GET YOUR SELF SOME DRILL SCREWS THEY MAKE LIFE EVER SO EASY

If you meen the Hymer part ,there is a stock in Germany and in Blackpool but up grades there will be made too .
If you meen the Ford base then that's the reason for the up grade's ,the next job will be the back axle and then it's will be the independant front suspension, all the up grades are based on a MK 5 Transit .
If this had been a MK 1 or MK 2 van the I would be looking to keep it original but it's not .it's a family motor home and as got to do a job for the next umpteen years :).

:oops: :oops:Sorry the bar that the pipe is hanging off is hinged and the pipe hinges down with it, I still have to drill the bracket and put a long bolt through the wire clip is just a temporary mesure :oops: :) .

28th FEB 2008
I fitterd a knew prop shaft today it only took 30 mins and cost £52 inclueding postage off ebay and £52 inclueding vat to have it cut weld and balaced from Rotherham prop shafts I did it becouse of the vibration at 65 mph and I was wright to do so ,the vibration has gone now :)
