Mk2 V6 Mines Rescue Restoration.

Postby RETRO PUG » Mon Jun 30, 2008 9:59 pm

Hi all,

Here are some pictures of my co-owned MK2 monster. A mate and I are restoring it, hoping to have it mobile within a few months....

We've just had the engine re-bored, new pistons, and alu timing gear.

Hope to start the rebulid this week....

We want it to be a fairly practical van, we are always lugging car parts around.....

We hope to get the original graphics re printed or at least a play on them...

I'm a big fan of catalogue poses :D
Picture two is an excellent example.

Good luck with the project :)

Thanks mate, I was going for the moody yet determind look. (while covering some rust on the wing!!!)

Anyone have a couple of wings?

Yeah, cool eh! Two on each side.

I'll try and post some pics of the block soon.

Could anyone tell me or at least guess at the MAM (maximum authorised mass) of the van please?

Is it not on the VIN plate? VIN plate should be on the passenger step.
