front carpets getting fitted

Postby frank133 » Tue Apr 14, 2009 10:33 pm

Hi I decided to recover the front rubber mats with fitted carpet, for this camper I am tidying up.
Black carpet would have been okay, but I took the missus with me to the shop,
and finished up with a red carpet,[it matches the curtains she said]
I will have to take a photo, having fitted most of it ,I have to admit it looks okay
The front seats are cream leather on swivels,[out of a Saab, and the over mats are that fake chrome,
I have had this transit now for about two months, drove it about thirty miles, cant wait to finish it. 8)

Yes I think blue would have gone well,
But the missus said red would go with the curtains she is making,at least they are not pink.
I cant go shopping with her[we just don't agree]
the material for the cushions, the stuff for the curtains, and the carpet. If I said I like that colour, she says I know you dont like it.
Its a good job she didn't have a say on the outside paint job,
I took the van away for a while and she didn't see it till it was done.
She has done a brilliant job on the upholstery, and the curtains will be finished soon, nearly there.
Its hard to imagine what this camper looked like 6 weeks ago.
