Mk3 service van

Postby trannu » Fri Oct 23, 2009 8:04 am

Here's my transit:

The previous owner had done a good job and changed all doors and other rusted parts.
I changed the piston rings, and now runs perfectly (2.5td-100hp).

Never seen a roof like that before - with window blanks - looks like its metal?
My Mk5 was biodegradable and disintegrated with time.

Finally entered the 21st Century and bought a MK7. Oh Dear.

Some modifications: had the seats recoated, and redesigned the room in the back..
Also installed a 1200w inverter, seems to be powerful enough for anything I have- compressor, pressure washer, various tools..
