mate i am only jokeing with you ,the 24v engine is far more modern and robust ,essex are just a easy engine to keep and fit! :wink:

Essex exhaust manifolds are a pain in the ass tho, i've got the old FoMoCo cast ones and i'm needing them both welded, seemenly very prone for cracking.
