My Mk6 Project

Hi guys had my transit just ove a year i hav sorted the out side of the van out now its time to sort the inside :D i have been looking at every ones pics and got some ideas any suggestions welcome


Image sills ston chiped in black new trims Image mk 7 lights Image sld re sprayed and rest of the van compound polished then signs on also new clutch and flywheel Image rear doors sprayed and signs i started the inside on friday lifted rubber matting and came across rust lol ImageImage got the grinder out but i am a bit unsure what to paint the floor with what would you guys use?Image drivers side footwellImage this bit has been bugging me since i got her ImageImage grinded of all the rust and primed it looks 100% better allready

that all i got done this weekend i have all ready ply'd the back and carpeted it once but its all comeing off and floors comeing up and i am going to re do it all again as i said b4 any suggestions are really welcome as this is my first transit

Just slop some oxide paint onto the metal on the floor and if you want to be posh, you could white hammerite it :D

got my rust converter red oxide and white hammerite today gagging to do it but its pissing down!!!

Looks like you and me doing the same thing, I got lucky with a t350/125 Jumbo. Guess you dont have the same problem as me in getting sensible carpet and flooring on a budget though.

hi mate i have done the floor inred oxide and put some contract carpet dow underneath the rubber matting

i am fitting some ply this week then fitting polysafe cool blue flooring finishing it off with stair nosings

then the sides in automotive carpet if you need any pm me your address and i will send you 2 samples
then you can ring them and tell them exactly what you want at cost price and if they ask were u got the sample just tell them barry from floortek passed them on to you
