Done a bit more today.
Second hand wing and arch tacked in place. What a pig of a job that was. What made it worst was using Dads knackerd old clarke 110 mig. That things been repaired so many times I think only the case is original. I might just take big BOC Beasty over to finish the welding.

The new sill is welded in but was to dark to take any pictures. Just one little hole to weld a plate in then its filler and paint.

The paint isn't a good match, it just looks good in the pic. It's actualy a couple of shades darker. I think dad said the paint was from b&q?

Bodywork update
The old mans been busy this weekend :-
Image
He said it went on a lot easier than the near side. Also fitted the clear side repeaters he spotted in the scrapy. No idea what they are from, Dad seems to think it was a vauxhall?. Had a bit of a disaster in the week when the near side rear wheel cylinder blew its seals just as he was coming upto a junction  . Oh and had its MOT today, and passed :)

I was just wondering the other day how this beasty is doing :D

My girlfriend keeps rolling her eyes about how I reminisce of the good old ex RAC Transit!

Hopefully it's still giving good service, without a doubt one of the best vehicles I ever owned.
