the mk2 may fall by the wayside as i had a phone call last night from a guy whos got a mk1 lwb van ive been trying to buy for the last 20 odd years offering to sell it to me for a real good price so it will be on my drive by the weekend (fair play to the guy as he always said if ever he sold it it would be to me hows that for keeping to your word)
if its got tits or wheels its always gonna end in trouble !!!
anyone can restore a van but it takes a real man to chop it up !!!

i dont think so its been off rd since 2005 standing in a neighbours work unit its in exelent condition underneith but body work needs some tlc ill post some pics when i get it bk i gotta arrange to meet guy at unit i payd for it last nite its only about a mile away from me ive been trying to buy it off him for last 20 yrs it even comes with 2 brand new rear doors .so it looks like mk2 will be used as a donor so the mk2 panels will be for sale including the spoiler as i need to use the rear pillars and one of the side panels
if its got tits or wheels its always gonna end in trouble !!!

luke gave me an idea as i now have a mk1 the idea was to break this van but if someones got one in worse condition and wants to do a deal on the shell as i need the engine box and gas con .as long as the rear pillars are good and the panel between the drivers door and centre seam a side loading door would be good this ones quite straight needs the inner quarters finishing on o/s back valance bit crap but on the whole drip rails inner box sections are exelent as well as panel under screen inner wings not too bad either front spring hangers need a bit but are repairable without total rebuild ive welded floor already and the paint is quite good .the sides are reasonably straight so if its better option than yours get back to me
