2o odd years and its mine mk1 lwb van

just edging my bets here and i would love to get my mk1 ready for transit mania
but just in case it isnt i bought my big wheeled bearing eating mk5 back tonight in a deal on a vauxhall movano van that i swapped a escort estate for the other day
so its now on my drive again its been painted white(badly)
and more lights on it than the national grid .ill put some pics on tomorrow
it ran out of mot 3rd august but taxed till october
needs a bit of sorting as its been standing in a guys back garden for ages
if the worse comes i can always strip the goodies off it for the mk1
but at the moment its a dog around

just washed it off and put spoikler back on the end of the roof rather than in middle of van

the guy i sold it to originally has been pestering me for it but its going nowhere
its still as much fun as when i first built it

the mk1 now has a new owner and will be heading north to durham
the guy whos bought it is going to continue this thread so everyone can see the end result
all thats left is to thank everyone who has over the last 7 or so months added comments to this thread

well the guy turned up to collect van at 2am


by 3am it was on its 5 hour journey to county durham
prob wont go down too well with the neighbours loading it up this early in the morning
