Finally! Some progress to speak of! Rear rows of seats have been removed, limo tint in and sides boarded out.

Image

Girl's School logo has gone, front wing had big rust going on, and a few other patches this side.

Image

Split frame work fabricated and fitted ready for board. The walls are going to be fitted with steel ratchet strap plates.

Rear arches boxed off, floor awaiting wooden boarding.

looking good,

The correct name for that is a Long cube, and is basically a LWB with an extra panel and a MK3 LWB rear overhang

Reconfigured seats in the front half.

Mega security lock. "No-one will get through that!" said the bloke who sold it to me. What i didn't realise was this included me. The lock failed 2 days after fitting causing a load in at The Manchester Academy to be 2 hours late and much stressed band members.

as above, it's a long cube... used to have one the same

you can fit 16 x 45gal drums in the back of one of those.... or 18 of you use pallets between the arches so some drums can overhand the arches :-)

keep an eye out for some extra springs for the back end... less chance of hassle with the plod pulling you thinking it's overloaded :-)

Do you know who was using the "real tour bus " at the Bristol Academy ? as i did a collection in Paris other week for a Joss Stone gig and it looks like the same bus they were using ?

I can't remember! I did have a chat with a couple of the techs and I think they were parked for the next night, maybe the Friday. But on checking my photos from the tour, I took this pic. I hope it helps!
