ImageImage basically the plan is just to sort any obvious rust then get her shotblasted then respray in blue and a DI with the mt75 box. she will be a flatbed as i intend to keep her as a working truck the chassis is extended to 16ft.

i started by stripping out the truck bare apart from axles for transport reasons the only bit of welding i had to do was the os wing rail the previos owner had put new steps and outer sills on. Image Image Image

Then i sorted the bonnet rot and put some lower front corners on which i bought from oldcars.de however now they dont sell them anymore does anyone have any as i need some for my landliner? anyway next i started painting. Image i also got a mk3 truck and had the disc axle out of it :D .I had some trouble fitting the axle as the draglink arm wouldent fit in the arm from the steering box so i took the arm off and an engineering shop heated it up and fitted a scrap draglink and let the arm cool the arm now fits the mk3 draglink perfectly 8)

Hi luke thanks, yea originally she was a auto v4 camper then she was turned into a recovery truck and had a v6 essex transplant but the autobox was kept. Also when she was streched it was done very well ill try and get some pics tomorrow. Shes all in paint now, DI engine and mt75 box fitted which is as far as ive got as i stopped working on it in may to finish the landliner but ill get back on it in the christmas hollidays i reckon.
