You'll get used to the rackBut if you don't as I've mentioned I've got a full galv jobbie for a shr van that sits flush with the gutter rail it's also the type with same size outside box section as the Rhino, there not as pretty though
I've also painted some wooden batton and put them on my Rhino racks fixing them neatly with black cable ties, it dampens ladder/equipment/materials rattle and protects the rack at the same time although don't fit a batton to the first cross bar as the airflow causes the batton to vibrate and sound like a fart
