Hi your transit is as bad as mine i had to weld secondhand chassis legs and front crossmember in(ill put some pics on later) and had to remove engine and box so i could get weldingtourch in(took me weeks to do it) my steps were 90% fiberglass had to make new ones from scratch i used thicker gage sheet steel should last good few years.Ive got passengerside done im on with driverside but weather is holding me up as im working outside. I still body work to do door bottoms are well shot but ive got a door skin off a mk1 mini (mk1s have a square corner on them) and look like it might work as a repair panel. The floor had been welded up before and looks like a patchquilt but it will have do for now.Mine was a CI camper but when we went to push it(clutch stuck) out of its resting place the back corner gave way and when got it home found all wood framing to be rotten so now its a chassis cab/pickup any way good luck with the build

Hi Mate,

Gonna finish the Cab first!

Found a company called woolies that can do most of the new trim for the outside, but gonna spray it white again first I am lucky to have access to all the spray equipment I need plus my welder paints too so he can help!

Inside is dry except at the back the battoning is wet and rotted but a few new sections screwed in and she will be sorted.

The inside floor is fine but might gut the inside and redesign with a modern twist on the design of the layout as I am 6ft 4 and pretty sure wont fit on the bed

Still thanks all for your support!!
