My latest addition to my fleet :D

Image

As i bought it in a presentable condition this will be a long term project :D it's my daily driver non turbo, no aircon but it is an 8 seater GLX 8)

plans are- in no particular order :D

full chassis waxoil and underseal - very important priority
    clear indicators + twin headlights
change the alloys - ideally some 18" but i've got a stock of transit tyres to go through 1st so it might not be for a while
connect arches - like transittrev and rob-xcar
limo tint the back window and front side windows
panel over the back 2 side windows in steel
general tidy of the body, eventually new wings arches and a back door repair panel
    mk4 grill modded like martins
    nice steering wheel
might have to lower it a bit
remote central locking conversion (allready got central locking)
alanN style back lights - but done in metal
thinking about doing something with the dash but not sure what yet
and either a cyco type bumper if i can get one or a laguna splitter like gasretro did
fit my cb and get it working

think thats about it for now - i'll update as i progress :D

nice...ive owned a mk5 as long as a mk4 and the mk5 dash still feels like a bit of an imposter, retro dash it to mk4

it's funny you say that i think the same :D i prefer the boxy design of the mk3/4 dash :D but realistically the time it'd take to do i couldn't justify it as i dont dislike the mk5 dash i just prefer the mk3/4 one :)

small update - waxoiled the chassis last weekend and i've now fitted clear indicators and repeaters 8)

Image

i've also won a RS steering wheel off ebay but it's been lost in the post :x got the boss but it's not much use without a wheel  so for now thats the only mod :D

i think i'll sell the tourneo alloys and fit the wellers on this for now but i'm not sure they will fit the n/s rear with the sliding door having a trim on it :?

i'm also collecting panels for this so if you have any cheep let me know i'm in no rush but i want wings and front arches mainly :D
