not ure buddy tbh... id say jsut short of 2 tonne id say tbf... ill take it the weigh bridge next week and tell ya !

Got the camblet n pump done... prop bearings done... got the oil n filter changed... got the winch on a remote BUT ... im getting really big sprks of the winch motor wen the winch is being used either forwards or reverse.... sometimes bigger than others... everything is working but i dunno why they're there... ???

Jobs for the rest of the week are :

Rewire the beacons onto a switch

order and fit and rewire plug for heaters behind headlamp

get paint for the body and some rollers

Next week :

Arches on

paint the back of the truck

sort some number plate lights out aswell

Could you tell me how much difference having the bed raised a bit at the front makes, compared to a bed flat to the chassis, weight and handling wise.

she will be a good truck when done, its the extra touces like using old relays to wire up the switch for the beacons and stuff so th ey dont melt, doing all the routine maintence to keep it reliable.. and going the extra mile to beat the rust before it beats me!...

still getting a spark off the winch motor or solenoid when the wich remote is used ( couldnt tel you if it did before) but the sparks the other night were quite large, my freind says it could be a dodgy earth or it could be a dirty connection... so any ideas people???

had to get my sensor guage straight from ford... so hopefully my guage works well now .... if not its stat time....

and as for handing and driveablitly... drives A1 and handels well laoded or un-loaded.... i get clutch judder when coming down the gears but its still there even after a new centre prop bearing so its somthing im going to have to live with ... ( prop was a W*nker to get apart.. never seen a grease gun EVER)

Had a mate come over today to help with some re wiring... BUT his top rad hose split so instead of fixng my car i rescued his and fixed his whilst he did my truck lol

One bad point... snapped a connection on my winch so now ive gotta try find somehwere that will re stud it and re do th econncetions incside... heard of a place in yardley wood that shoudl service it and re stud it for around 60-70 quid... i hope they will anyways!

My good old Mate "Gee2er" off here came over aswell and helped me with my heaters... brought and fittter new resistor.. got a mint plug to replace my melted one ... still no joy... then realsed there was a 10 amp fuse in the box instead of a 30 amp ... lol bodgers!! so now i have heaters aswell :D :D :D

few little jobs left now and should be all good :)

number plate lights

tail light bulb

put winch back together

front wings and arches + cab re spray

paint the back + re do some SH*T previous welding....

Getting there at last :D :D :D :D
