decided to swap to my spare g/box - started to remove mine tonight but ran out of time - should be done before FF this weekend - fingers crossed the spare box is ok

and (just for tim) ive also decided to go down the charge cooler route so purchased a charge cooler - more on that later

Sorry that I won't get to see the van again at FF this weekend, but I have other plans involving 'spark plugs'

I do hope the charge cooler is not the new one, you do know that one is a copy of the one fitted as standard to a Citroen CX DIESEL

i'm planning on a seperate rad - under the rear floor just in front of the back axle :| :D i dont think the engine cooling water temp would be anywhere near low enough, my main concern with mine is can i get enough air flow cooling under the floor  everyone says i should cut holes in the front spoiler and mount the cooler there  but thats just not gonna happen

there should be plenty of air flow under the van :)

if your rad is facing down, you could make a small scoop to direct the air through it.....
and a slimline rad fan or two, wired through a inline thermoswitch might be a nice idea :D

Did you drive it there and back? That's a fair trek from yours ... Some shake down :!:
Your best off building up a good box yourself.
You're more than capable, and you'll know how to work on auto boxes then
