Update time, the bus is now officially scrapped.

I was finally allowed to see it, and after the copper saying it looked 'ok', I was expecting it to be in one-ish piece.

Unfortunately not

Dunno what Kent Police class as 'ok' but the bus has been wrecked.
The whole front end had been stripped, the mint interior looked like it had been chewed up and spat out, the locks and dashboard were all butchered, big chunks cut out of the floor and my perfect front steps had been cut to shreds to in an attempt to remove the chassis numbers.

Most glass was broken or sprayed white, although some of it had been replaced with sheet metal :?
Stupidly, the LPG and Weber carb were still perfectly intact, but I was not allowed to remove anything in the storage yard, I think it must be owned by one of Hitlers secret offspring :x
-they charged me £75 to leave it there.

Many thanks to all who offered to help, in particular Captain Hook- in the end it just wasn't worth bothering with any more.

Note- do EVERYTHING you can to hang onto your vans!! This has cost me dear, in time and expense.

hi , where was it being held?
sounds like the place i had a car once.
their name was auto renovations.

as for kent police. they often say the vehicle is fine.
which actually means i don't have a clue
because i have not seen it or spoken to anyone that
has seen it.
so im guessing it is ok as ive been told it is not burnt out.
you can't collect it yet because we are looking at it.
translates to we want the recovery company to earn
here also , so let them store it for a few days and
everyone gets a drink!

Yes you're correct Mikke... Auto Renovations.

Possibly true about the police/recovery firms but who knows?!! Luckily I didn't have to pay storage charges.

Stupidly, the receipt the place gave me when I handed the bus over to them... printed out the address of the location they picked it up from..

Id be interested in that if you would pm it to me.

my story was
i bought a trailer off of a local scrap yard .
i sold it on ebay for £800 and then got an email from someone claiming it was
theres.
a few minutes later and the police were @ my door.
i had a receipt and they still took it off me and arrested me
i was taken and fingerprinted and dna etc.
they bailed me and then 2 days later told me not to bother coming back.
i then found out from someone that worked at renovations
the trailer was found by kent police weeks before.
collected by auto renovations for the police
and then sold at auction by the police.
the scrap yard bought it and sold it to me .
i then get nicked!
i still have not had a penny back from it and the police
have not apologized for their mistake.
£400 out of pocket thanks to kent police.

the person that sold it at auction for the police
never got arrested . the police involved have obviously not been arrested..
so im the only one that gets taken off and arrested!
because the i stuck it on ebay
took allot of police detection to find me that did

That's not nice at all. Get an apology.
Recovery company made life very difficult for me, will not be going back/ using them again by choice.
