yes i now the van well it was in the garage across from my chicken shed , i have seen the photo album of the van when russel built it in the 80s , would have liked to have restord it my self but too big of job for me but u do appear to be doing a great job and do hope u get it to a van show ,i will like to see it when it is finished and at it first show mick

i have spoke to russell a few times on the phone .he was surprised when i said i am going to rebuid it been at it 18 months but its comin on now

all the weldings now finished passenger side done,first class job thanks to mark the fabricator fit the mirrors on today makes it easier movin,and the oak running boards are back on,then fitted new winkers in the original positions,,will send some pics

he made the lower a post by hand and theres a seam weld where the new step red meets the old blue quality

not sure yet may go one colour or try to save the airbrushin mi brother in law has repaired and fabricated the exaust this week another job less and a nice v8 sound he s also doin a service and tune up its gettin closer

had winker problems turn out faulty indicator stalk now sorted

fitted new gearselector and facia ,good old ebay and 2 new tyres centre caps and nuts to the front axle so thats done the rear tyres are a bit harder to find in the existing size tho

nice day so i painted front axle and springs in a nice gloss red i ll have to do the back now
