Well the plop thickens The 2 relays I thought would work don't
The legs are the wrong way around so when I fitted 23 the wipers started working on their own

So I took a relay off red and fitted that in 23 and nothing, turned ignition on and bingo all working as it should, rain sensor, intermittent, slow and fast. That is with 5 pin relay in 23 and 4 pin relay in 25 spot.
That I checked. But there's 5 spades in 25 so what could be the reason for that? Perhaps run on? Can't see it lol that's for the fan isn't it

Any ideas chaps? Mk7 r23 and r25 are they both 5 pin relays please?

Just been out to look at mine, both 23 and 25 are 5 pin relays and both have the same part numbers on the top

Ah cheers DD much appreciated. I can't fashion why r25 is 5 pin though lol it is on or off.

I bought a 5 pin 1 from Ebay 4 quid guess I'll need to buy another.

Wipers are fixed, relay hasn't arrived yet but I know they work anyway. I haven't got the engine running better yet as i don't have the bits yet

Went to mums to adjust the dodgy van man parking so she could get the wheely bin out and asbo started and didn't cut out I've parked it down the side of the house with maybe 2cm of gap between the house the van and the fence, hardest part was getting my lanky leg over the arm rest to get into the back so I could emerge like the A team out of the back doors might be there a while

Thats it loot dont over think why it has 5 mate just plug it in and if it works forget aboot and fix yhe next problem........ Which is what seeing I'm late to the party......want a race auld Bettsie v's Asbo

Not ready for a race lol need to get it running sweet then a remap

Ned to fix the red 1 first though need to get into the lair too so I can make money somehow.
I'll just sit on the curb and watch

Hosed the back out it is much better, needed a strong brush to finish though. Also removed driver door card and cleaned it out and I got 2 speakers that I had spare and i duct taped the the plastic that was torn and i fitted the door pocket mod it was free and rude not too
Oh and i wd40'd the locks and handles all round, they open all of the way but don't open the doors lol but they do now very nicely

Side door roller kits need fitting but I need to file the rails down them spray them sisterhood are ruff as foof

Anyone wanting to do the lower pocket mod you need the pocket, you need the 5 black screws and you also need the paddock square thread replicators they just nip together from behind and push through the front

Oh and thanks for the special delivery mr Airthies I said I won't spend too much time and money on this van but a blue led mod for the speedo isn't too much is it?
