You can turn temp 2 off with forscan/ids, I guess possibly add a resistor of you like faffing about.but a new sensor is probably easier :P

As long as they register roughly right and ate consistent then the temp accuracy isn't really that important across vehicles, it'll be a good base line for you and will let you know if you will have swamp butt or brass monkeys.

It is annoying having to press the stalk each time it hovers about 4 degrees.bloody ford.

I ordered this one, if it doesn’t work for I might see if I can make one fit from another vehicle

It funny it was fine until my brother plugs some new scan tool thing into the van, it was quite a good scan tool that tested everything, beeping the horn, locking unlocking door, sweeping the gauges up n down ect ect, it’s the beep beep it’s cold that does my head in, especially when you press the stalk and 2 seconds later beep it’s cold

It's fluctuating around 4 degrees,it refreshes enough to set the alarm off. It's not always that temperature outside but when it is,it's annoying.

Hopefully it’s stop beeping every 5 minutes telling me it’s -3,000,000 degrees.

The clip snapped on the last one that I fitted, so I put the older one back

I’m not 100% sure the clip is going to hold, might cable tie it to the loom, it was only a tenner, is the clip the sensor or just a clip

I assumed (probably wrongly) that the clip picked up the temp from the inner wing panel :? That clip seems like an odd way of fixing it unless there was a reason for it to be that way.

If the sensor merely takes the air temperature of the inner wing/wheel arch, then no wonder it's all over the place  :P

I wondered whether the air passing over the spring is what read the temp, I’m probably wrong, loot will know, but as you say no wonder they pack up and don’t read correctly given it’s stupid location, I might see if I can relocate it to behind the grill or somewhere away from road crap and engine heat, for now I’d just be happy for it not to keep beeping at me

I would say that there's just a thermocouple inside the plastic since there's 2 pins on the connector not 1, also it can't be that sensitive as the temp would drop too quickly when you start driving it. I would consider letting the clip sit on good metal though and clean it off all mud etc.

Took a gamble on a sliding door top step panel, drivers side, asked the seller about it but as usual they give the I don't know mate answer. Anyway using the latest scientific optical technology I deduced that the image was indeed correct for my needs. :P

Nice tyres, can’t see the wheels too well, what size did you go for?

Btw you didn’t order any wheels, you ordered a hand bag and the wheels came instead lol
