Got a 'leccy fan at last ,so thought I would fit it today,bit of a squeeze but it's in!
The grille now fouls the fan,so I had to remove the insert and make the surround 1/2 inch narrower,this meant the oe grille is useless so in went some 'Bling' mesh! LOL!
Keeps the stones out and it all fits.........eventually!!




looking into a Di air box now as I'm concerned the cone filter will let rain in,sold mine with the engine!-dope!

ive got mine the same as yours - havent tested it in rain much yet but i'd have thought they would be ok like that

you could make a ally plate round the front of the filter ,its only water from rain in the bonet gap i would of thourt!

I'm probably just paranoid about the filter but the induction roar is pretty loud!-need to quieten it down!-I'm too old for the 'boy racer' thing now!

fit a standard filter box this should sound as sweet as a nut!
myself i am the same as you i dont like that noise! its bad enouph for me with the pinto in the mk1 with a k@n i hate the sound!

Been busy today triying to keep the heat out of things!-Exhaust manifold wrapped and the fuel lines.......

Then needed to cover the ecu,

So I made this to stop it getting wet and hopefully sheild it from some heat!

And fitted....

Also made one for the relays,had to make a hybrid Scorpio/bit of ally,as I ran out of ally sheet!

Does the job tho'........
