Got a 'leccy fan at last ,so thought I would fit it today,bit of a squeeze but it's in! :shock:
The grille now fouls the fan,so I had to remove the insert and make the surround 1/2 inch narrower,this meant the oe grille is useless so in went some 'Bling' mesh! LOL!
Keeps the stones out and it all fits.........eventually!! :mrgreen:

looking into a Di air box now as I'm concerned the cone filter will let rain in,sold mine with the engine!-dope! :oops:

ive got mine the same as yours - havent tested it in rain much yet but i'd have thought they would be ok like that :D

you could make a ally plate round the front of the filter ,its only water from rain in the bonet gap i would of thourt!

I'm probably just paranoid about the filter but the induction roar is pretty loud!-need to quieten it down!-I'm too old for the 'boy racer' thing now! :roll:

myself i am the same as you i dont like that noise! its bad enouph for me with the pinto in the mk1 with a k@n i hate the sound! :twisted:

Been busy today triying to keep the heat out of things!-Exhaust manifold wrapped and the fuel lines.......

So I made this to stop it getting wet and hopefully sheild it from some heat!

Also made one for the relays,had to make a hybrid Scorpio/bit of ally,as I ran out of ally sheet! :oops:

What is the ECU ad what does it do? :D
Electronic Computer/ Control Unit? Does it do all the ..umm.. electric-y stuff? :?
