So new ht leads all fitted up the other week... Still not test driven but seems Soooo much more responsive to throttle and nice and sharp/snappy under foot when you dab the gas...
Test drive will tell but its looking promising !
Update when it happens !

Any one Essex area or nearby wanting an Essex meet up... Planning one soon

Keep an eye out !

Yay! Happy days
Leads great, fully running on all 6 again and so much torque it'd rude not to mention it!
Had a wee drive over to benfleet today. It's literally the first time driven since transitmania in august,
First time driven since insurance kicked in dated Sept2nd LOL

Lovely drive considering still got half the camping gear in boot
Wasn't caining it as didn't wanna take the piss as she been sat since Aug but still nice to drive...
Power steering working great but pump squeaky when hot, well annoying... Still will live with that as it cost me 40 quid!

So much yet to do but at least now I'm back up firing on all cylinders!

Define need to sort out final drive ratio tho reckon the lump could easily spin a 3.89 but where the hello can ya get a transit diff
With that ratio?
Possibly Burton Power might be able to rebuild my diff,

Anyone know what type I got, atlas, English or timpkin?

Believe but may.be wring.I.got front loader diff?
Anyone?

Best thing I ever did Robbie, V6 will have no problems pushing that up to speed and the motorways are so much more relaxed 8)

Its not going to be a simple swap, as the 3.89 have smaller halfshafts, so two ways, change to a MK3 axle, the perfect excuse fit some 'PHAT' banded rims on the back (the cool way 8) ) or swap over the C&P, Hornhead or MinorMatt will have experiance of that

Best thing is to build the mk5 center in to the mk3 diff casing - leaving the pinion in place. That way you don't have to set pinion heights and preload.
