progress....... this weekend i made a start on making the mounts for the rear seats - i had bought some espace seats a few years back and i was tidying up and basically thought i'd might as well get these fitted to clear some space
my plan is to have 3 of the espace seats across the back as a middle row behind the front row, then at the back have the rock n roll bed that way i can use the van to carry people if needed but if i'm going away in it i can take out the 3 seats and leave them at home and it gives me loads of space to use

i havent took any pics of the seats - unless i did earlier in the thread when i bought them but these are the mountings i'm making
the idea is they will be inset fully welded to the floor so the top is flush with the ply
the seats will work as they do in the espace and the level that folds the back legs up will work ok off these mounts too 
well i dunno a mate of a mate reckons thats the problem (ive never had the intercooler plumbed in for anyone who's not up to speed on the thread) my thoughts were get this lot plumbed in then see how it goes if its the problem then great - if not rolling road, but i wouldnt take it to a rolling road without this lot on so might as well fit it - no brainer really!
ive got an app for my phone that gives a rough idea of the 1/4 mile my plan was to use that to see if it was anywhere near where it should be, then get a pukka time at weald.
- i think i'll try to fit an air/fuel ratio gauge tomorrow - i'm a little concerned the fueling might be out as i have had to swap this turbo over so that might be my problem. at least if i fit the gauge it'll give me peace of mind its not doing any damage
