A couple of things, the covering inside the van is some kind of vinyl? So the mounting of those 4 amps in time will discolour the covering due to heat. I assume that no surrounds are going to be attached later on? Also using the seats and being able to bash you head on the most forward facing amp doesn't seem to be a great idea.
Also the pods you have made for the rear speakers look the nuts especially with all the paint and the amp tray but are you going to do anything with the rear doors as the speaker fitments as they are right now are in my mind at odds with the up to date looking fittings now inside the van.
I do understand it is a work in progress, so not being nasty negative.
What do you have planned for the strip neon on the top edge, backing/surround wise?

Hi MarkM.. the amps on the walls are all 2 channels and dont run hot at all. the monoblock amps will be mounted at the rear and they will run hot as hell so dicolouring wont be an issue, as for the covering its Fleather a vinyl that looks like leather.. as for the doors etc. will be covered aswell but thats when i get the van back from the audio man " if that ever happens" tho Sam from Auto Image who done my seats will be the one covering the rest of the van even front doors, dash and front ceiling etc..
and opal colouered perspex panels go over the light bars at the top in the rear.. As for the head banging? well the van is only registered as a 3 seater and the centre seat is the legal rear seat so thats not a problem either.. hope i have answered all.. cheers. Daz

Daz, I see what you mean about the legality of the seats...wasn't even hinting they weren't legal afterall you probably have way different laws to us here ;)
Just that when you have someone sitting in those seats watching the girls do their thing, a static car show or otherwise a bashing of the head on the amp looks very likely.

I take it back about the rear doors I was getting confused with the front door arrangements

This being your old version I don't recall seeing an updated picture of this

shes cool.. i know what you mean about the amps but that was my audio mans F up. as he went like a bull in a china shop and done what he wanted to. and thats why i have not got the van back yet, i had a go at him so hes just screwing me around so as soon as i get the van back there will be some changes but as for the amps well its hard as there is now a 2" hole under each of them so i guess i have to live with it.. as for updates on the doors etc. well they will be done by my trimer "when" i get the van back and then i'll be proud to post some updates on them,, i do know where you are coming from as i have the same thoughts.

if i had seen these problems coming i would have gone else where or done it myself..

i'm just waiting to get the van back so i can move on! if i shut up it will happen faster.. we live, we learn hey!

also thanks for your input it tells me i'm not the only one thinking this way!
