copy archs from ebay....they fit ok and are for a mk7 as mk6 ones dont fit the mk7 front wings..i do have the bits which go on the bumpers but they dont look right so havent fitted them..

You need the sport bumper covers to make the add on arch bits look right but it looks good just with the arches. Are your wings genuine as the drivers one doesn't quite line up with the door

yes both wings are genuine drivers wing needs adjusting but its 1 of them jobs i havent got round to yet..

Devil eyes fitted after seeing puntos van at mania 2014 I had to fit some..






Night time with sidelights on (they are cree hi output leds)




And light output on dipped is better than the original halogen lights(I did have 100/90w blue tint bulbs fitted before) main beam isnt that good but is ok... I am planning onb fitting a roof bar with spot lights on and markers so main beam wont be a problem afterwards..
Oh and yes u do have to split the headlights apart by heating up the sealant glue and prising apart(I was told by punto to be pretty ruthless and i was rewarded with getting them apart in a hour) I fitted them back together with contact adhesive and silicone sealant over the top to seal them all up...

Another mod to my van..and it clicked over 200k the other day but now its at 200450(clocked up 500miles in 2 days this week already and its still going strong with no oil useage..
Managed to get a mk7 rear axle compleate with discs and cables for £150..

rear disc mk7 axle fitted almost in place just shocks to fit and hand brake cables..
only fitted disc axle as it has good calipers and almost new pads in it,plus my old axle needs rear cylinders and while that was apart might as well do shoes and by time i had paid for them i could of got this axle and have disc brakes.. cost me £150 for the axle but did come with the springs and shocks plus i got a pair of good headlights for future use if i need them..

fitted in place and my brakes are defo much better,I can report that mk7 springs fit in hangers with no problems that some mk7 have with spongy pedal i did make sure handbrake all worked on the calipers ok and all sliders are new and free moving bleed the brakes with a pressure bleed and made sure comprensator was free moving as well...
Next mods fit new front discs and pads am thinking of grooved and drilled discs they will look good behind my wheels

I don't like it to be honest loot, it don't look nothing like my old van any more, I was said to see it go and now I'll never see it again. Lol

I think this van will be on of few that last longer than the body so to speak and clocks good mileage.
Think we might see this van around for years to come.

Hasn't seen Jay on here for a while too, hope he's OK.
Doesn't sound like him not to mot and insure his van, he did like the van.
